*Independent Certificate of Rank with League seal and serial number.
Many schools, Instructors and/or individual practitioners wish to have an independent body acknowledge their rank. Those members wishing indepentdent acknowledgement need simply to supply a copy of their most recent Rank Certificate, signed by the authorizing instructor. The League will then issue an Authorized League Rank Certificate with seal and serial number, signed [not rubber stamped]by every member of the Executive Counsel.

*League Instructors promoting League students:
For Instructors who wish to include a League promotion certificate with their own for League member students. The Instructor need merely supply us with the student's information and a League promotion certificate will be issued with a signature line for the issuing Instructor as well as the League Executive Counsel.
*League members seeking League authority promotion:
In many instances, a practitioner's advancement may have been prevented through no fault of their own. Schools close, the practitioner moves to an area that does not have a similar school, or a new school refuses to recognize you at the rank you had attained previously. Or, high cost or politics may have prevented you from testing for a deserved rank advancement.
If the practitioner requests to be tested through peer review of the Executive Counsel then an appropriate test will be assigned with a period of time in which the test is to be completed in. A video presentation of the test may be presented for review by the Executive Counsel [if the discipline is one the Executive Counsel has experience/sufficient rank in. Or if the exists within the League an instructor of sufficient experience/rank in the discipline in question].
The Counsel has decades of experience as Instructors in quite a large number of disciplines or has access to Instructors in other disciplines who are willing to assist in testing. The testing fee will be between the Instructor administering the test and the practitioner requesting to be tested. As a courtesy, League authorized Instructors are encouraged to keep costs for testing down.
If the practitioner meets or exceeds the requirements then Certificates of Promotion shall be issued and presented to the practitioner, in person if possible by both the League Executive Counsel and the Authorizing Instructor. There will be a charge from the League to cover the cost of S&H for the League certificate.
The Certificate of Promotion shall include the new rank, date of issuance, League seal and serial number and shall be recorded with the Executive Counsel. Additonally, The Certificate of Promotion shall be signed [not rubber stamped] by every member of the Executive Counsel.
*Certificates of Award/Achievement
For Instuctors who wish to honor a student with a special award for a specific achievement the League will provide upon request an Authorized League Certificate with seal and serial number.
It can be signed [not rubber stamped] by every member of the Executive Counsel with a signature block left open for the Instructor or simply by the Instructor him/herself, which ever is prefered. There will be a fee for this to cover the cost of S&H and documention.
*Seminars
Participation in any/all seminars at sponsored events and public demonstrations. Periodically, the League will sponsor a clinic for Instructor level members. Additionally, Instructor level members may offer to host a clinic for the purpose of cross-training and fellowship.

Does the League issue rank?
No. The League will recognize and record your current legitimate rank on an open forum. Testing will be through an Instructor authorized to test and promote in a particular discipline. By authorized we mean a Instructor of sufficient rank to test a practitioner in accordance with established discipline guidelines.
The League may recognize new disciplines that are submitted for peer review. If approved, the founder of the discipline will be recognized by the League at a ranked in accordance with their experience and current credentials.
Do I need membership in the League?
You don't need membership in any organization. Your either legitimate or your not.
Why belong to the League?
That will differ from member to member. Some have sought us out because of the high $ of promotion or internal discipline politics. As a group of Martial Instructors and Practitioiners we have connected them with an Instructor of sufficient rank in their discipline that administered a valid test for a fair price and no politics or racial discrimination. Some members wished to belong join us to belong to an organization that didn't discriminate against them. Some wished to seek cross-training experience or additional training.
To be blunt, the world of Martial Arts is often in turmoil because of corruption, politics, unreasonable costs or unethical people looking to rip of the practitioner. To us a certificate from a real live person willing to put their name to your training means more than a piece of paper from a far away land with writing you can't read that cost an arm and a leg. The League is merely a faciliator in providing a fair means of training at as little cost to you as possible, and documenting that training in an open forum.
There are well established organizations that are in complete chaos at present. Instructors and practitioners who don't know if their rank is going to be valid tomorrow...or if it is valid today! The League is designed to circumvent all of that. Your either a member or your not. If you are then your name is listed in the Dan registry [if a Dan rank of course] and you have documentation signed by the Executive staff. And we will not hold back because of nationality, gender, choice of discipline etc. Bottom line is your either qualified or your not.
